The Ancient Pyramid of Elliniko

One of Greece’s most mysterious monuments is literally right on our doorstep. The Pyramid of Elliniko, built from massive stone blocks, is believed by many researchers to predate even the Egyptian pyramids — an enigma waiting to be discovered.

Ancient Mycenae (20 km)

The city of Agamemnon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Lion Gate, the vaulted tombs and the Acropolis of Mycenae constitute one of the most significant archaeological complexes in the world.

Ancient Argos (18 km)

One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The ancient theatre, with a capacity of 20,000 spectators, is one of the largest of antiquity.

Tiryns (25 km)

A UNESCO-listed Mycenaean acropolis with impressive Cyclopean walls — stones so large that the ancients believed they had been built by the Cyclopes.
